SOUTH FORK--Marketing Director Ashlee Bratton submitted her resignation during a work session on Thursday, May 2. Bratton said, "It is with incredible sadness" that she is resigning and she, "absolutely adores the South Fork community and the San Luis Valley." DEL NORTE--Two years ago, Howard and Maureen Larimore of Del Note rescued a golden eagle.

SOUTH FORK--The proposed separation of the South Fork Fire Department from the Del Norte Fire Protection District has nothing to do with any bad feelings between the two entities.
